EarthQuaker Devices Dream Crusher
The Dream Crusher is a germanium fuzz effect designed to make your guitar sound more awesome. There are two simple controls: Fuzz and Level. Fuzz Controls how sweet you want to sound and Level controls how much you want other people to hear how sweet you sound. Even though it has a simple interface, there are many tones and textures waiting to be unleashed. Earthquaker Devices recommend setting the Fuzz to taste then adjusting the Level to unity, roughly noon on the dial. Playing with a band? Bump up the Level a couple notches to make it extra rad. If being extra rad isn’t your thing, bring it all back down to zero and rip in silence. Your call chief. Earthquaker Devices also recommend placing it first in your signal chain and before any buffered pedals for optimal awesomeness.

This pedal now has a negative ground and can be powered by daisy chain as well as more conventional power supplies. The updated version can be distinguished by the "V2" on the label. early versions of this device have a positive ground and can not be used as a daisy chain style power supply. They were wired to accept a standard 9V DC power supply with a negative center 2.1mm barrel, not to use a reverse polarity power supply. If you have no idea what any of this means, Earthquaker Devices recommends sending them an email before powering up the pedal.
Earthquaker pedals take a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. Do not run at higher voltages! Current draw is 25 mA.
