Item #14126

Very good condition, 17” lower bout, rounded cutaway, gloss black finished solid spruce top (finish done by the estimable Portland Fretworks), maple back & rims, 2-piece maple neck, cream-bound 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, parallelogram inlays, 1.75” nut width, 25.5” scale, adjustable rosewood bridge, nickel tailpiece, and here’s the kicker: a rare McCarty dual pickup pickguard assembly – two pickups with volume, tone and balance controls mounted to a 5-ply pickguard that attaches to the standard pickguard brackets allowing amplification without cutting any holes in the top – brilliant! Nickel Kluson tuners top it all off. This guy had a hard life prior to coming to our shelter, poor finish work and several cracks but the fine Fretworks physicians have fixed him up and he’s ready for adoption into your home and jazz combo! Housebroken and comes with original hardshell case.
