Centaur Guitar offers a number of repair services at our shop in Portland to help you hot-rod, customize and revitalize your favorite guitars. Listed below are a few of our standard prices. Restring
- 6-String Acoustic or Electric: $15.00 plus strings.
- Floating Trem: $25.00 plus strings.
- Classical or Slot Head: $25.00 plus strings.
- 12-String Acoustic or Electric: $25.00 plus strings.
Pickup Install
This is for general drop-in pickup installs. Additional electronics work or trickier installs (i.e. hollow bodies) will be billed additionally at $80/hour.
- $60.00 first pickup
- $20.00 each additional pickup.
- 25% discount applied for pickup installations done with a setup.
Setup
Includes: Clean and polish guitar, clean and condition fretboard, small electronics repairs, slight nut adjustments, set intonation, truss rod adjustment, adjust string height (action) and restring.
- 6-String Acoustic or Electric: $80.00 plus strings.
- Floating Trem: $95.00 plus strings.
- Classical or Slot Head: $80.00 plus strings.
- 12-String Acoustic or Electric: $90.00 plus strings.
Repair Times
Generally our repair schedule is booked 7-10 days out but this can vary greatly. Restrings and small repairs can occasionally be done on the spot but please understand that this is not always possible due to varying workloads and staffing.
