Ibanez AM-255 Artist (Used - 1983)

This is one rare bird! Very good condition, semi-hollow construction (14” lower bout), antique violin finish, burl mahogany top & back, 1-piece mahogany neck, cream-bound 22-fret ebony fingerboard, abalone & pearloid block inlays, 1-11/16” nut width, 24.75” scale, two Super 58 humbucking pickups, gold hardware – and here’s the kicker – Ibanez’ Pro Rock’r vibrato bridge! A Strat-ish vibrato on a semi-hollow guitar? Inconceivable! Yet here it is along with the famed Sure Grip II knobs (missing the rubber grip part) and Velve-Tune II tuners (‘cause they tune like velvet. Get it?). Awesome 80’s MIJ guitar!
